The Warriors!

Hi everyone welcome back to another blog. Today I will be writing about the Warrior trip.

LETS GO! Some people got selected to go to the Warriors stadium to watch them practice and maybe get something signed. Our teachers said we got chosen because we showed sportsmanship and that we loved to play sports. It was sad because some people didn’t get chosen to come with us. Mrs Jones said that we had to get to school before 8:30, I got here at 8:15 since why not. When the bus came we were all amazed by how good it was. It was like a first class airplane! inside had seat belts, air con, lights that you can turn on manually and it had blue LED lights. We left at 9:15 and arrived there at 9:45. We first thanked the bus driver and then we got off.  We first got some posters that they can later sign. After that we were going through a long dark tunnel that led us to the pitch. We were technically getting first class seats since we were sitting on the blue seats ( the seats closest to the pitch). After the training session we got our posters signed. Some of us even got there boots! We were all looking at the boots since it was signed as well.  But after all of that we had to go back. But at least we were heading back on the first class bus.

Thanks everyone for reading my blog I hope to see yall next time!

Safety is important

Hello everyone!
Welcome back to another blog from me. Today’s blog is about being safe etc online and offline.

BOOM! You get an email from an anonymous person or you got a nasty comment on your blog. The best solution for this is to take a screenshot of that email or copy the URL link and send it to your parents or teachers. after that the teachers would trace the email and find whoever it is. Just because your in another school doesn’t mean the teachers can’t do anything about it. Even if your playing a game you can take a screenshot of it and block that person so that you could never join a match with him or her ever again. If your stuck on what I mean there will be instructions at the bottom.

Screen shot it and copy the URL link. (sorry if it is blurry)

I hope this helped you out and I will see yall next time!

Novel Study!!!

Hi guys it’s me Christopher and i’m back with the first blog of term 2! Today I will be talking about Novels. Our teachers gave us a novel to read  and I want to share it with you guys. We also had a slideshow that had activities   in it such as art activities, google drawings, slide shows and etc. First I will introduce my novel. My novel is called Bullseye Bella. Bella is a 12 year old girl that’s good at darts, she also have this funny little brother Blackbeard who acts like a pirate. Bella later finds out that her mum is having trouble paying for Blackbeard’s special school fees but Bella finds a pub dart competition. The prize money was 1000 dollars but was split up for what place you placed like 3rd you get 150$ 2nd you get 300$ and 1st you get 550$. later she got 1st and told her mum. her mum was not happy because she went to the pub but then she changed her mind because she won money. after that she gets into the news and gets invited to the national darts competition but couldn’t go because of a stupid school meeting. The meeting was about child safety care because Bella went to the pub. after the meeting Bella’s mum  got a call from the child safety care and forced her mum to send Bella and Blackbeard to the child care center. She later told the center that she could stop doing work and look after her kids but she lied and carried on her work. And that’s where I got up to but it was long and fun at the same time. Here is the slideshow I was talking about                                                     Link                           (Click  on link  not  image)

Thanks everyone for reading my blog about my Novel and I will see you later.

War Has Begun…

Hi guys its me again, it’s been a long time since I did another blog! Today I will be talking about ANZAC day.

In April the 26th 2023 Waikowhai Primary School (my school)  celebrated ANZAC day. The teachers hung up loads of strings all across the classes. Here’s a photo of us crawling under the strings/trenches also us marching.

A Anyways we had LOADS of fun like loads. Our teachers had to dress up into sergeants not gonna lie it was really funny. Mrs Sands (our teacher) said that there were World War 2 stories and we had to bring our orange books alongside our glue stick and pen. One of our activities was to  read the stories and sum up what it said. For fruit break we had to march around the court 4 times! It was REALLY exhausting but luckily we made it out alive. After fruit break was exciting we lied  down  and listened to a short poem, people thought it was really good and so did I. It was so good that I almost fell asleep cause it was that good! (Credit to the person who wrote “Imagine”) Shortly after the poem ended we had to plan our ANZAC poem for tomorrow. I started off titling my poem as Imagine but then shortly I realized it was kind of copyright cause there ´ s this poem called  imagine. Anyways we then went on to music. There were paper bags all around the classrooms, we had to find a group and go to one of the paper bags. Inside the bags were different kinds of small instruments. My group was Tyler, Cris, JP and Paul including me did an excellent job at doing it (in our opinion ). After that we had  lunch break god you do not know how happy I was to get some fresh air.  Anyways The bell rang and we headed back inside. More boring stuff later we had an unsuspecting thing happen I saw a Nerf gun in the Sergeants kit ( hand bag) good thing she didn´t use it. A few scary moments later we sadly had to pack the class up BUT it was actually super good we had to pack the strings up go into Manukau and Mrs Najack will give us a yummy marshmallow chocolate fish. Mrs Najack also checked our IQ by giving us some (Easy) Definitely Hard Riddles BUT We get another fish if we get each question right. Keygan wont believe me but I got a Sour blueberry jam flavor. But like always the fun had to stop, we packed our stuff cleaned our syndicate and the 3:00 bell rang.

Bye guys see you next time!

Parihaka

Hi guys welcome back to another blog. today I will be Talking About Parihaka! Enjoy! On the 4th of November 2022 We were celebrating Parihaka. In case you didn’t know Parihaka is an event that happened in 1816. 1816 the British were taking land from the Maori . But the Maori didn’t want to fight so the adults hid and all the children came to the entrance and started to sing. They sang because they were showing the British that they don’t want to fight, instead showing non-violence. So that’s why we remember Parihaka.Sooooooo Back to the present. Waikowhai Primary school has been making headbands with the Parihaka White Feathers Here’s a photo of me wearing one.I chose this pattern because I was doing a repeating pattern . See You Guys Next Time Bye!

Oh and also we went to the museum by bus it was a little long but we didn’t care since we all just cared about playing games on the bus and waiting to arrive there. We were a school so we got to go into a classroom looking area. 1. First put glue on your balloon.
    2. Put newspaper on the balloon
    3. Repeat the same thing and stop when you get to layer 5
    4. Glue white paper on your balloon and  stop until you get to layer 3

Something hard is that i had to rip the paper and that took a long time. Something i learnt from my balloon was when i got stuck on something and i figured something out using my brain.something i liked was the painting because I got to think hard.
